about

Andros were somewhat active in the early and mid 2000s after Vocatico lost Tom Crea to the promise of a real job and Dan Nolte joined the band and made it change. Vocatico and Andros were based in Athens, GA and built a following of literally tens of fans in Georgia and the Carolinas. This, their only full length album, "Are You Going to Listen to My Poem, Or Do We Have to Take this Outside" was released in 2004 and sold literally tens of copies, maybe even a hundred. This barely remastered release is dedicated to Nuci's Space, Tasty World, Caledonia Lounge, and to all the people who stole our flyers in order to repurpose them on your restaurant tip jars.

p.s. Bands used to put flyers up on phone poles in order to encourage passers by to attend a rock and roll show.

All songs by Mitcham, Nolte, Vernelson, and Johns. Produced and engineered by Johns and Nolte. Cover photograph of idiotic man grabbing hundred dollar bill from the back of a tormented bull at a Georgia rodeo taken by Ben Munro, our most loyal fan. To live in Georgia is to live in a paradoxical state.
